The Move Against Microbeads Exfoliating Scrub xtendlife xtendlifethailand

Most of us are aware of the damage plastics such as plastic bags play on oceans and marine life. Yet many of us are blissfully unaware of the little balls of plastic we wash down the drain every morning that cause even more harm than any number of plastic bags.

I am talking about plastic microbeads. These tiny plastic balls are so small that they easily pass through filtration systems and are often swallowed by marine life, harming and killing them internally.

Early in September this year, the UK government announced its plans to ban microbeads in cosmetics and personal care products. This move, follows the twenty-five UK cosmetics and toiletries companies, such as Unilever, who have already taken steps to phase out microbeads from their products.

Xtend-Life has always been aware of our impact on oceans and marine life, and are actively involved in marine conservation and increasing awareness through our xtendoceanlife site. We are proud to say that we were a step ahead of the rest, when we formulated our microbead-free exfoliating scrub back in March last year.

Our Age-Defying Exfoliating Scrub uses natural rhyolite exfoliator and apple peel extract to gently polish away dead skin cells, refining and renewing the skin for a brighter, clearer complexion.

Our exfoliator is not just for the young or acne prone. It also works wonders for aging skin as it helps to buff away dead cells to bring younger, brighter looking cells to the surface.

Be sure to purchase environment-friendly products. Let’s be the first generation to leave the environment in a better state than we inherited it.
