Clear Skin In 30 Days: Lillian’s Story

It’s true, good skin begins on the inside.

Think about this – if acne is your concern, pay attention to what’s happening in your gut. Why? Because that’s where the body processes waste. When there’s too much bad bacteria, undigested toxins are pushed out through the skin, resulting in (you guessed it) acne.

More than ever, men and women of all ages are struggling with adult acne. Recently we received this from our customer Lillian:

“I have always struggled with skin issues and acne. Although it had always been on my face. About two years ago, after a bout of glandular fever, I started getting cystic acne on my neck. The acne on my face had cleared, but now I had it on my neck.

I tried everything, stopped eating gluten, dairy and sugar, and tried anything anyone recommended. Eventually all I ate was green vegetables and protein. But nothing worked. I was traveling and always busy, but tried to keep as much balance in my routine. I didn’t drink coffee or alcohol, and had a clean lifestyle. The acne still wouldn’t clear.

Eventually, over summer, having tried every beauty product and supplement under the sun, I tried Xtend-Life Advance Candida Support. I didn’t see results straight away, but within two weeks my skin was starting the clear and the redness around the acne gone. I kept on with the product and eventually majority of the acne cleared. I still have the occasional hormonal breakout, but am able to eat a balanced diet, including dairy and sugar, and not worry about breaking out. I feel much healthier and finally have my gut health and skin issues under control."

I know what you’re thinking. She has done everything by the book, and nothing worked, and yet a simple supplement to correct candida imbalance solved the problem. How did that happen?

Candida Overgrowth & Gut Imbalance

Let’s look at the missing pieces of the puzzle - her gut health.

In this case, antibiotics taken for glandular fever had upset the balance of the microflora in her gastrointestinal tract, leading to an imbalance in her gut flora caused by too few beneficial bacteria and an overgrowth of bad bacteria, yeast, and/or parasites. As the good bacteria in her body was decimated, the yeast moved in, multiplied and took over.

Candida (yeast overgrowth) in the gut is a big cause of acne that many dermatologists overlook. Unfortunately for many of our customers, they are unaware that they struggle with a candida issue and often turn to dermatologists for antibiotic treatment of their acne. While this may treat acne on the surface, it often aggravates underlying candida concerns due to the effect antibiotics have on gut microflora balance. This manifests in other candida overgrowth symptoms such as weight gain, headaches, mood swings, bloating, yeast infections and more.

Try Lillian’s Approach

Healing your digestive system is one of the simplest ways to see big improvements like Lillians, in your overall skin health. Here are two simple steps you can take on your own to get started and not only improve the appearance of your skin, but your overall health too.

Lillian used our Advanced Candida Support which contains Horopito - a plant that possesses powerful anti-fungal properties. This clinically-proven ingredient has undergone extensive research and clinical trials to confirm its effectiveness in relieving candida symptoms.

Lillian also used our three-in-one prebiotic, Kiwi-Klenz. As candida overgrowth is being addressed, it is important to encourage healthy microflora in your digestive tract.  Prebiotics are specialized plant fibers that are capable of providing a favorable environment for the growth of good bacteria that are already present in your gut. In essence, ingesting a constant supply of prebiotics helps fertilize the good bacteria in your system, allowing them to grow and improve your overall gut health.

A healthier gut means a happier you. The happier you are, the more freedom and choice you have in your life. And really, isn't that what it's all about?

To your health,
Julie
